A thirty-minute ride from Roseau brings you to the Layou River. After a short course at the bank of the river, guides equip you with a life jacket and paddles before snuggling you into a large tube and guiding you down the tame rapids, providing navigational support along the way.
Throughout the hour bob downstream, the river unveils spectacular vistas of the soaring cliffs and enchanting rain forests surrounding it.
Part of the fun of the adventure for the many drenched riders is a swim in the clean fresh water of the river at the half way stage of the trip.
