Opened February 17th 2006, Kalinago Barana Autê provides a unique experience to learn and appreciate the heritage of the Kalingo (Carib) people. The village boasts beautiful Kalingo structures including the 'Karbet' that serves as the centre for daily traditional dance, drama and song performances. Experience a herbal medicine garden, hiking trails, scenic view points, the Crayfish River and Isulukati Falls, a food and beverage concession stand (offering both local and western cuisine), and an arts and crafts gallery where Kalingo artisans weave baskets and authentic crafts are available for purchase.
